The 100% Folk party was the beginning of an ongoing effort to connect a younger audience to the museum. I was asked to shoot portraits of the attendees. For this I cut and taped together a life size #Polaroid which each person and/or group would hop in to have their photo taken three (3) times. These are some selects from the event. The session in its entirety will be posted on youngfolk.org, the destination site for the Young Patrons of the American Folk Art Museum.

They specialize in creating new media experiences, through web and mobile applications. What started as a product shoot for an iPhone application, turned into a studio session in the back room next to the hi-tech water cooler. I've had a long working history (design and photography) with Glow and was happy to take portraits of the team. Thank you to Jesse McLean, for taking mine.

Pascal and I each shot sets with Zemi17, both conceptual and documenting his interactions with the Gamelatron. Additional photos were taken of the Gamelatron, to detail the fully robotic Gamelan Orchestra: http://gamelatron.com/biography.php

The shoot was done in photographer (business partner) and collaborator, Pascal Charles Petit. Moments before the shoot, we quickly walked through and established the three setups -- the rooftop, in the incredible stairwell and in hallway. Here's the Wiki on the building: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ansonia
